Together, and through the generosity of The Legacy Foundation, we plan to enhance the programs offered at the Chadwick Center with a focus on offering dignity, empowerment, and a path to hope during dark times through the development and opening of The Confident Closet in collaboration with the Alex Morgan Foundation.
This age-appropriate shop will feature brand new, gender-specific, needed essentials like backpacks, sweatshirts, sweatpants, socks, shoes, under garments, basic hygiene kits, writing journals and other curated items to provide these kids a confident path forward. The Confident Closet will be more than a shop.
The goals are to provide a sense of security, support, and the ability for these kids to make their own choices as they look towards the future, with a community of support making it possible. Funds will go towards the important programs at the Chadwick Center that are primarily funded through philanthropy and to build-out of this new closet space to create an aesthetically safe experience with racks, shelves, seating and more to fully stock cool gear and essentials that will be replenished year over year
